Rio Medina Texas ... Clouds
Driving out to see a ranch in Medina County..... The clouds were very breathtaking ! I just had to stop and take a few pictures.
Rio Medina Texas on the edge of the Texas Hill Country just a few miles North West of San Antonio Texas.
So, What are your thoughts about these Red Hot Clouds ?

Nice shots Robert. Always have that camera at the ready is a good policy. As far as the color is concerned. The red comes from the sun dipping below our horizon and the light being refracted through our atmosphere. Evening sun is warm, orange because of the heat of the land and atmosphere. Morning light is pink because of the cool atmosphere and land.

I love red hot clouds. We usually get them here only when there are wildfires roaring through the county, but except for yesterday and today, the previous nine days had given us some spectacular red hot cloud sunsets.
