Polite Mail - has anyone used it?

By
Real Estate Agent with ATL Agent, LLC

I currently use Sharper Agent for my drip e-mail campaigns and to generally keep in touch.  While it has been a good service, I have found their interface to be kind of clunky.  I keep hoping for a major upgrade, but have seen nothing forcoming.

After looking around, I stumbled across Polite Mail.  It looks like a good service and I have downloaded and installed the trial version.  Looks pretty good and since it integrates with Outlook the interface seems good.  Is anyone else using this service for drip campaigns?

I know Constant Contact is a big player in the e-mail marketing arena, but I am looking for a new/fresh service.  I hope Polite Mail is what I've been looking for.

What exaclty is a drip email campaign? Have you found any other kinds of emails to be effective when it comes to getting new business?

Drip email is the process of automatically sending (dripping) emails to contacts or prospects on a scheduled basis. Emails are prepared in advance and go out at timed intervals until the series is completed.  You usually have campaigns for prospective sellers, prospective buyers, etc.  You just put in their e-mail address and the system handles the rest.  Most services already have the e-mails built for you.

oh gotcha...i do that on a regular basis without a service. We have customized a bunch of letters and just email them regularly.

How much does a service like you are taking about cost?

It's all over the board....average of about $20 per month.  However, most services throw in other things.  Sharper Agent offers Virtual Tours with their service which I get good use out of.

I do not think I would care for the program.  I like the fact that I can get on from where ever I might be to mail my contact list.  Just my thought.

A relatively new drip email service is contact29.com

It's an online application so you can access it from anywhere and it's pretty easy to use.  It runs at $14.95 a month and comes with 10 or so pre-written campaigns for buyers, seller, past clients and FSBO's.

How is Polite Mail working out for you? With so many e mail campaigns out there it's hard to judge what's better than the other? I like the fact it works with your Outlook.
