It took a snow day.......

By

Remember when we were kids and the local weather man was predicting snow? Just the anticipation of an unscheduled day away from school was enough to excite us. Well, last night the excitement came for my twelve year old when the names of area schools started crawling across the bottom of our television screen and I have to admit I got a little excited as well. You see the last few weeks have been crazy busy and quite honestly, I could use a day off. No office, no make-up, no leaving the house. Just me and my youngest staying home and eating junk food.

Now I have to tell the truth and admit that I answered a few emails, spoke with a couple of clients and returned a few phone calls, but I did so wearing fluffy sweats and my warmest house shoes.

Yes, even adults need a snow day every once in a while.

Hi Billi good to see you hope you are having a good year even if it is cold!  Did you build that big ole snowman?

I have to admit that I hate cold weather and playing in the snow is not one of my favorite things. My fat friend MR. Snowman is in southwest Missouri.

I went out in that beautiful snow and went to work......while everyone else stayed home.  It's a great time when you know the office will be quiet......got a lot of work done.  Hope it snows next week so I can finish what I started.

Billi...I'm hoping for one of those snow days tomorrow.  Even if it's not a full snow day a two hour delay would be wonderful!
