In simplest terms, Serendipity means a fortunate accident. And, that's exactly what happened to me on Wednesday night in White Plains at Haiku. I went to a Keller Williams happy hour and used my free drink ticket. And, the person next to me was none other than Sandy Fenton from Active Rain and Mt Kisco NY. She recognized me right away even though my hair was in a ponytail bun.
It was so great meeting her. She is such a sweet geniune person - just like she seems in her blog. She always stuck out in my mind on Active Rain because she is in Mt Kisco which is right next to my home town of Chappaqua, so I was always in Mt Kisco, and my how much it's grown since I was a kid.
We of course bonded about Active Rain, so that was a lot of fun and it made the evening that much more special. I hope to see her at the next Keller Williams event.
