We are located in Miami Lakes, FL, which is very close to the Broward County line. This is the heart of South Florida. We have specialized in the Reverse Mortgage for almost 3 years, and have achieved a lot in that short period of time. Now that the Reverse side is a well oiled machine, we are gearing up to do the same with Forward Mortgages. In the Reverse world, the forward mortgages are the ones that necessitate monthly payments. I also call them Traditional Mortgages to make it easy for layman to understand.
MARKETING & LEADS:
Our office has been in business for over 12 years. The owner of the company, Michael Camus, believes that to make money in today’s market you MUST spend money. Our monthly marketing budget is in the 10s of thousands, and that all trickles down to benefit the individual MLO working in our office.
We also provide our MLOs with access to a database filled with 10s of thousands if not over 100,000 cold and warm leads that need to be contacted. Our warm leads are leads that have contacted us in some form or fashion and need to be followed up on. I have closed many of these by dipping back into the database. It can be the difference between 30k or 40k income per year, or between 80k and 100k per year.
LENDER:
As full Lenders we control the loan from start to finish. Our underwriters are in-house, which means you don’t have to jump through hoops to question a conditions. I feel the most important aspect of this is that we ARE NOT SUBJECT TO OTHER LENDERS’ AMCs. Appraisal Management Companies are ruining our industry. We are completely HVCC and HUD Appraisal Independence compliant. As such, we have a random rotation of hand picked appraisers that get paid what their worth, provide the reports and conditions in a timely manner, and give the true and fair market value of the property.
