Very small Tsunamis today in Hawaii

By

After having that huge 8.1 earthquake off of Japan.  Hawaii experienced some really weird surges which were considered mini Tsunamis.  The tide which normally takes 8 hours to come in and out was only taking 6 minutes and would do it over and over again.  Really a site to see!!!!  All beaches were closed for a few hours with concerns of current problems with the awkward water movement.

Glad there are no real reports of anyone getting hurt.  ALOHA!

You have to love the crazy weather in the islands!

After going through hurricanes in St Thomas, I don't think anything would bother me...........

It's kind of funny but I didn't even know about it until the 9:00pm news.  I woke up late this morning and had to rush to the corporate meeting and went straight to the office to work after that.  I didn't listen to the radio on the way there because I was talking to a client on my cell phone.  Someone at the office was talking about it but I think it just didn't click in my brain because I was just too busy.  When I came home tonight and saw it on the news, a light finally went on in my head.  I was like "duhh".  Wow, did I miss that much today?

Marc, yeah we've been really lucky so far with the hurricanes.  We did have an earthquake though just a month ago.  Really wierd!

Kengo, you are a crazy man!

We just had another earthquake yesterday that registered at a 5.0 off of the Big Island again. I didn't feel it but I know a lot of other people that felt it on Oahu. Good thing it didn't trigger a tsunami.
