Have you lost your enthusiasm for the job?
"Enthusiasm glows, radiates, permeates and immediately captures everyone's interest." ~Paul J. Meyer
I have a friend that, in my opinion after several talks, has lost his enthusiasm for the job. A past Broker/Owner that just a few short years ago was full of excitement and love for the real estate industry. You could see and feel that enthusiasm every day. As Paul Meyer says he would capture everyone's interest with his enthusiasm and the energy that came from his excitement.
If you have ever watched someone lose their excitement or enthusiasm about their job you know what I am talking about. They will start by shutting down. They will not be as interested in their job and stop doing what it takes to get the job even half done. For a Broker this is not a good thing, it is even worse because in this instance the broker stopped showing up in the office.
Bad things happen and we have to rise above it all. Whether we are a broker, a sales person or someone on an assembly line we need to stay on top of our game. If not we can bring those that are in our charge or those working beside us down.
Imagine what the potential clients that we are sitting in front of are thinking. Your negative vibes are being felt and the odds are not in your favor that you will close the sale.
So, if you find yourself lacking or needing an attitude adjustment take that much needed time off have a glass or two of wine or your favorite adult beverage. Climb a mountain, talk a walk on the beach or sit next to a waterfall and re-think what you are doing and what needs to change in your life get you back on track and bring back that fire in your life.
"What you don't do can be a destructive force." ~- Eleanor Roosevelt
