With all of the new active adult communities in western Prince William County it may be easy to overlook an established community sitting above the Occoquan River in Woodbridge. River Ridge was built by Pulte Homes between 1999-2001 and features a large club house, swimming pool, tennis courts, walking trails and lakes for fishing.
One of the advantages that River Ridge has for its residents is the easy access to DC. Only minutes to two large park and ride lots, Omni buses, VRE and I-95 owners who still work or want to get into town have plenty of choices close by. With loads of trees, winding streets and a variety of housing options the neighborhood is a nice surprise over some of the other communities where homes have been built on bare land.
Current listings run from $365,000 for a one level 1500 square foot Radison model to $410,000 for a two level 2300 square foot Penfield model. The largest detached homes come in at a whopping 4000 square feet so buyers who still need loads of space without the worries of yard work there are homes for you.
With very low monthly maintenance fees that cover all of the yard work and community amenities the cost of ownership remains reasonable. If you are interested in taking a tour of River Ridge in Prince William County give me a call.
