Competition in Real Estate

Services for Real Estate Pros with Bluegrass Homes & Farms Realty, Agent Know How

There are several kinds of competition in real estate. There is the competition between brokerages, which seems to be heating up. We all know how competitive the environment of providers for tools, systems, and technology can be. Then there is competition between agents. Recently this has become more of a collaboration.

Consider this: in a deck of cards, there is 52 cards, right? Did you know the chances of shuffling the same combination is 1 in 8.066 x 10 to the 67th power? There are virtually endless combinations..and so it goes in the real estate business. Just think how far a little collaboration and a lot of creativity can take you in your business!

Real estate is a competitive profession.  Sad but true.  Our office has the Team Spirit and everyone works together to reach the final goal.

It has always been necessary for the buyer and seller's agent to work together after the price is agreed upon by the seller and buyer.

Lynda - Good analogy. I agree that competitiveness can bring out the best in us.

Thanks, everybody..I used to be scared of competition, I suppose because I had 4 older brothers and sisters and used to feel helpless to be better than them in anything. Now of course I'm old enough to know better! ;)
