New Construction year to date New Home sales from Jan-Dec 2010 equaled 2,156, which is only 10 houses lower than the same time last year. New homes are dominating our market. The predictions are that the market will continue to be dominated by new home construction.
The domination of New homes in the market is impacting Residential home sales. Sellers in our Fayetteville market will need to reduce prices in order to compete with new homes. It's going to take a tremendous amount honesty and analysis to ensure residential homes continue to sale.
