Boulder County Real Estate - New Lafayette Homes Community!
Coal Creek Village is a NEW HOME COMMUNITY in Boulder County and is located in Lafayette. The Coal Creek Village Community was started several years ago by New Town Builders and B&B. However, construction pretty much came to a stand still when the economy started to sour. Meritage Homes has taken over this community; having purchased most of the remaining lots.
Not only is Meritage a "GREEN Builder" featuring many energy efficient features in their homes, their home plans also offer very desirable and livable layouts. Homes in this Coal Creek Village Community range in size from 2,000 to 3,000 finished square feet (with another 1,000 to 2,000 square foot basements - depending upon the model).
Base pricing in the Coal Creek community ranges between $300,000 and $350,000; however as in most communities, the price escalates when adding many of the available upgrades.
Lot size in this community averages 7,500 square feet.
Four 2-story models and one ranch model are available to choose from. Construction completion ranges between 5-6 months for a dirt start although some models are already in process.
For example, one of their "Durango" ranch models is nearly finished and is still available for sale. The Durango has just over 2,000 finished square feet on the main level and another 2,000 square feet in the unfinished basement. This particular home is located on a corner lot with a scheduled completion in February 2011. The price, including a multitude of upgrades would normally be $369,000. However, special pricing incentives currently available lower the total price of this home to $354,000. It includes a 3-car tandem garage.
Coal Creek Village backs to bike trails that connect all the way west to Louisville and the Coal Creek golf course. The Lamont Does park is located just to the north of this community.
