Laramie, Wyoming.  We have some culture, really - we do!  The challenge of this  just for fun series . . .

 Can You Find It ?!

If you haven't been to or live in Laramie, Wyoming, it won't be easy to do the "Can You Find It?" part of this challenge.  However, I hope that far away visitors can still enjoy the pictures.  (Though, for this particular sculpture, the building peeking over the rise in the road will still allow anyone who has seen a particular previous blog to know, at least, what it is near. . . )

     Sculpture #1

(This series was inspired by Sculpture, A Wyoming Invitational.  www.uwartmuseum.blogspot.com )

Brenda, Even with your hint about the Territorial Prison site -- I still don't know what it is. This is an interesting series.

Steve - Well, it wasn't built to be a cap for a building - but I think it would be perfect for one!

Gary - Even though you could find it, without the sign you really wouldn't know what it is - other than a small, metal pyramid.  Lucky for you, I do know what it is!  It is called Vedauwoo Modernized - so I would guess it to be a futuristic representation of Vedauwoo with the granite rock thrown in, or carefully placed ; ) , for contrast.  And that is about all of the deep ART interpretation I am good for for today....

Brenda--Lots of fun for your locals.  Love the little hint you threw in this one.  Sorry I cannot participate, but love the sculptures---especially Ben.

Pat - Good ol' Ben, think of all the modern technology that rose up from the genius of that man!
