Ladies Night with the FireAntz
Last night our local hockey team, The Fayetteville FireAntz, had a ladies night. They were bringing awareness to the issue of Breast Cancer by wearing pink jerseys, giving pink shirts away to the fans and after the game auctioning jerseys and hockey sticks and gave the proceeds to charity as well. What a great way to show support to your community.
There were venders throughout the concourse to have give aways and to show support for Breast Cancer. My office, Keller Williams had a pink basket giveaway and we had several agents and one of our core services representative Traci Marley with Wade Dunbar Insurance to help us out.
Although we did not win last night (over time and a shoot out) it was still a great time for everyone who sat around us. There were a couple of people that had never been to hockey games and were impressed how much fun goes on at a game. There is dancing, chances to win neat prizes, and a chance to get out and meet some new people. Last night there was even a proposal of marriage (she said yes).
If your looking for something to do that the whole family will like, try out a Fayetteville FireAntz game.
