Infrastructure improvements are generally great news for a subdivision. Although “Jackson Creek” is currently undergoing some major infrastructure improvements (Baptist Road) it hasn’t necessarily been good news, at least for the real estate market.
Last November, El Paso County closed Leather Chaps Dr. for a couple of weeks. This is the primary and certainly the most visible entrance to the Jackson Creek Subdivision. Eleven months later the entrance has been reopened.
The result for this community has been enormous. Listing inventory has ballooned to over fifty active listings not including builder offerings. Jackson Creek has gone from one the areas hottest to one of it’s best values.
Now that the entrance is re opened, our company ERA Shields Real Estate will be hosting a community Open House. We would like to invite all agents that have homes for sale in the Jackson Creek Subdivision to join us in an effort to wake up the Jackson Creek market. We are currently looking at Saturday, October 20th from 12:00-3:00. Depending on the number of those that are interested, the advertising costs can be split. Our goal is to get as much interest as possible, as well as give enough preparation time for both agents and homeowners.
