Kennesaw, Georgia has found an economical and environmentally friendly way to help dispose of old books, CDs and DVDs. These items can be expensive, and you are probably tired of some of the ones you have. Now is the time to trade it for something else at The Kennesaw Book, CD, and DVD Swap. Simply drop off your gently used books (hardcover or paperback), music CDs and DVD movies at the Ben Robertson Community Center on Thursday and Friday, January 27-28 2011 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm and receive a ticket redeemable for the same number of books, CDs and/or DVDs during the "open swap" on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 8am to 11am.
Books must have both the front and back covers intact and be in good condition. DVDs and CDs must be in their original cases and fully operable. Magazines, software, record albums, VHS or cassette tapes, adult content, or any unauthorized or illegal material will not be accepted. All items remaining after the swap will be donated to a local charity. Please keep in mind that items will not be available for purchase during this free media swap. Can't beat a deal like this. Recycle old media, acquire new media, and don't spend a dime!
