Terranova's Italian Restaurant Huntsville Alabama

Lucky for me that my Real Estate office is within easy reach of many really good restaurants here in Madison and Huntsville Alabama.

Terranova's Italian Restaurant Huntsville Alabama is one of those restaurants that I've been in many times over the last few years and look forward to between visits.  Many of you know that I come from a family of restaurant owners so I tend to be more critical of restaurants that I dine at.  Terranova's with it's casual dining atmosphere is one restaurant with little to criticize.  The food has always been good, the wait staff friendly, attentive and the prices are right.  Today I had a small Caesar Salad and Minestrone soup that cost me $7.55.  Both were very good, however, the Rosemary bread that is always served warm with Olive Oil and mixed spices for dipping has gone through three recipe changes, in my opinion, in the same number of years...it's still good, but I liked the bread from three years ago much better...not a deal breaker.

Stephen was my waiter today...it turns out we have a little in common...he used to live in Chicago for a few years.  Currently his interest is in the food industry, so we had a common ground there.  If you are new in town or simply haven't stopped by Terranova's...what are you waiting for?  Stop by and ask for Stephen.

Most of the photos I take of restaurants have very few or no people at all.  There is a reason for that...I usually take lunch at a time when people are at work.  It's easier to take photographs, I don't have to worry about making anyone uncomfortable or having to ask for waivers.  To go directly to their webiste click here on   Terranova's Italian Restaurant Huntsville Alabama

The atmosphere is casual with lots of art, antiques and Italian memorabilia decorating the walls.

Nick this looks like a place that I would enjoy eating at.

One of the best Italian Restaurants that I have eaten at was up your way in Chicago called the Rose Bud.  I have eaten there twice and each time it was exceptional.

George-I've never been to Rose Bud's, but many of my friends have.  Did you go to the one on Rush St.?

Adrian-your welcome...I've always enjoyed it.

Nick I can't remember the street but it was the one on the older section of town.  They have two in Chicago, and this is suppose to be the better of the two, at least at that time.

George-the other one is on Taylor.  I'm just guess, but I would think the one on rush is the older area, but the one on Taylor is also know as the "Old Neighborhood".  Years ago my dad ran a pub down the street near Circle Campus.  Lot's of stories I could tell you about that area when I worked there as a teenager.

Chris & Bernadette-if you've been to it then you probably know it's history...how it came about.

John-I'll send them an email...doesn't hurt to ask!

Cynthia-ditto that about Italian food.  And even though Terranova's is very good I miss some of the old, smallish family run restaurants back in Chicago.

Nick ~ I am there buddy.  I will buy you dinner this time.  I love Italian food of course and I am good at making it.  His momma taught me.  She used to send the sauce home with him until we were married and then she gave it up.  The recipe that is not her sonny boy.
