Manassas Park's New Car Wash with a conscience! AND dogs?
Does your dog need a bath as bad as your car? Well, take them both to the same place. Manassas Park has a new car wash where you can wash your car, your motorcycle or even your dog.
Speedy Green is the first of it's kind in the United States according to the Thursday, January 20th edition of the Gainesville Times. It is located at the corner of Route 28 and Manassas Drive and offers not only a car wash, but a dog wash, motorcycle wash and the first do-it-yourself car detail center in the U.S.
They aim to be a role model of good practices. It's mission is to be affordable, environmentally sustainable and generous to area schools, causes and non-profits. All of their soaps and chemicals are biodegradable.
In the dog wash you can wash mans-best-friend for less than a dollar a minute and you get to choose how much time you take to get the job done. All supplies are included!
The motorcycle bay has a moveable platform that raises to your chosen height so you don't have to stoop to get all the parts clean.
Just some of the most recent things Speedy's has done for their community: FREE motorcycle wash for Veteran's on Veteran's Day and a high school promotion that donated 20% of sales to the school.
