Is that Dated Kitchen Holding You Back?

By
Home Stager

My friend Lisa Leonardi (a.k.a. The Room Doctor) is an amazing home stager and interior re-designer.  She serves Madison CT and the surrounding shoreline area and specializes in vacant home staging

At a recent event at her home, she was kind enough to introduce me to a great resource, one she's used several times and recommends quite highly ..... MrResurface.

If you have a dated kitchen, MrResurface provides a relatively inexpensive way to give it a whole new look and feel.  You can have the look of granite, marble, or corian without having to spend the $45 (or more) a square foot it costs to install it, Check out www.Mr.Resurface.com.  He's here to help you!

This solid surface is acid proof and is non-porous.  After checking out the countertop resurfacing FAQs and seeing the countertop video and countertop photo gallery, please go to the “Schedule an Estimate Consultation” to transform your old kitchen countertop into a solid surface today.  You'll be astonished by the results.  Check out a few "after" photos below ....

Updated kitchens are welcomed by most all buyers. A nicely remodeled kitchen can really make a house stand out from the rest.

Karen, this is a great product to totally transform a dated kitchen (or bath).    I sold a townhome years ago with ORANGE counter tops (and they WERE NOT Bronco fans), and used a product at Home Depot to resurface their counters and did wonders for their kitchen!   GREAT info!

Hi Karen, who doesn't love a terrific looking, updated kitchen?  And the value it brings to the home is good as well.

Karen, A nice option to broadcast!  Nothing like an old looking kitchen to start firing up the mental calculators in the buyer's mind about how much they'll need to spend to update!

We have these companies in my area too. A friend of mine had her counter done seven years ago and it still looks great.

It's almost always about kitchens and baths. If they're beautiful and clean the house sells, if not...

This is fabulous work and a great suggestion for anyone in need of some updating!

Karen, what was the cost point?  And, what's the time frame?  I know when I had my old formica countertops redone with granite a few years back, it was almost a month between the measuring and the prep time.  The install was just one day, but the wait was crazy!!!

Thanks everyone for checking in!  for those of you who asked about price, I copied the following directly from the MrResurface website ....

"MrResurface LLC offers the finest Kitchen Countertop resurfacing options in Connecticut for just $29.99 a square foot. We will transform your existing laminate/formica countertop into a solid surface countertop that will be free of seams for water to leak into and for dirt to grow bacteria.   For about half the cost of replacing the counter with another solid surface option you can transform your existing laminate-formica countertop into a solid surface countertop that simulates granite, marble or corian."
