Suggestions for modestly priced investment home in Huntsville Alabma

 In the under $100,000 price range the XXXX house is a decent property. While this is my listing we might be able to find something better for you. The house is in good condition but is larger than most in the neighborhood. This will tend to hold it's value down. While the immediate neighborhood is good, the schools that serve the property are poor. This will limit our selection of tenants and upon an eventual resale buyers. Most real estate investors focus on appreciation over time to build wealth. While there is some appreciation in this area it is much lower than more desirable parts of Huntsville.   If your target price range is under $100,000 this house and neighborhood might be a decent neighborhood but my suggestion would be to increase your price range a little and purchase a house in an area with higher appreciation rates.   The link below is to a webpage on our site for Huntsville newcomers. While you already know the Huntsville area it may give you some added insight. Huntsville Homes for sale newcomer's information The fastest growing area of Huntsville now is on the western side of Redstone Arsenal and south of Madison. Sales in this area are actually very brisk. Personally my buyers have built three homes in this area in the past several months.
