Realtor, Marriage Counselor, Chauffeur, Decorator, Snow shoveler

I have taken my share of continuing education & have many professional designations - GRI, CRS, ePRO, Associate Broker.  But I got to thinking yesterday, that I might have to get bigger business cards & add a few lines for yet another designation...Marriage Counselor!  I know.  I didn't take the required continuing ed, but after 22 years in the business, I think that should qualify for time served! Don't get me wrong, I love my job...I have to after this long!  But how many times while you are chauffeuring a client around or sitting in their home do you find yourself in the middle of a "he said this, or she thinks that...what do you think?"  There have been many times I could have sold two homes...one to him & one to her!  It just caught me by surprise yesterday when my clients arrived at my office for showings after having an argument about buying a house & I had to turn their frowns upside down & get them talking to each other again...or it would have been a really quiet tense ride!

Last week I shoveled a side walk with a sold sign rider! Now that is being industrious! After that I pumped up the blow up bed in the vacant home I helped stage. The list of things we do to get the job done are endless!  One thing I haven't done since my first year in the business is babysit a relocating client's kids!  All in a day's work huh?

Lol! Full Service really means just that doesn't it :)  Often my clients are here on a busmans holiday and are trying to fit vacationing and property viewing into the same schedule! I have learned how to set the schedule so the clients feel as if they have been on a tour of the sites and not loosing one of their precious vacation days... Love your mediation skills with the couples!
