Tucsonan pets are waiting to be adopted:
Is your Home Missing a Pet from the Humane Society Adoption Center?
Beginning last November, generous local supporters sponsored Tucson's homeless dog and cat population, helping to reduce adoption costs to $50.
With help from the sponsor, each pet in the program comes with microchip, vaccinations, sterilization surgery, a bag of food, leash or carrier, and a free visit to their choice of veterinarian -- all for $50.
The main branch for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona is located at 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd, Tucson, AZ. There are also adoption centers and pet boutiques at La Encantata and Park Place mall. For information, call 520-327-6088
