I love Tony Robbins.  I love his energy, his passion for helping people, his positive way of viewing the world, his humor, and his heart.  (Not a big fan of the price of his programs though!)

I have done my share of "coaching".  I have always been that guy that helps push those that want pushed.  Whether it's friends, family, or other agents in my office, I am always willing to coach and help those that want it.

I got a call a couple of months ago.  Heather the Home Seller had a home she wanted us to help her sell.  We ran a CMA and met her at the property. 

The property was nice...  but it needed a few things done to get it ready to sell (plus it stunk).  She told me that she would have those things done in a few days and to call her back that weekend.

"Well Jared, I didn't get anything done yet.  Can you call me every few days to keep me motivated?" is what Heather the Home Seller asked me.  (Just an FYI, her name isn't really Heather the Home Seller, but that would be COOL!)

Seriously??  If you want to sell your home then you better get it ready!  I'll do my part and you can do YOURS.  My part does not include motivating you to paint the walls and clean the carpet.  I called her back the following week and we had the same conversation.  I have not called her back again and guess what?  She hasn't called me either.  

If you are planning on selling your home in Fort Wayne...  it needs to be spotless.  It needs to be clean.  It needs to smell good.  It needs to SHINE!  If you can't motivate yourself to do these things then I'm not going to be able to either.  I'm not Tony Robbins.
