Hopkinton MA Townhome/Condominium Neighborhoods
The following is a review of the various non age restricted Hopkinton MA townhome Neighborhoods. Hopkinton has a variety of terrific condominium projects scattered throughout the town.
The "Indian Brook" Condo'sare situated off Route 135 on Elm Street in Hopkinton. Indian Brook was built in the 1980's. There are 112 units in this popular neighborhood. The condo fees range from approximately $282 - $321 per month. The Indian Brook units are 2 bedrooms and 1.5 or 2 full baths. They have full basements which many owners have finished, creating additional living space. Some of the highlights of these units include vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, loft areas, and some with hardwood floors. The units have two parking spaces. The prices range from the $270's - to low 300's. Indian Brook has been an area that most of the residents have been very happy with.
Apple Tree Hill is also situated off Rte 135 on Elm Street in Hopkinton. Apple Tree Hill was built in the late 70's. There are 32 units in this neighborhood. Apple tree's condo fees are around $250 per month. Some of the Apple Tree units have full basements others do not. Most of these units have a fireplace. Apple Tree Hill as an affordable neighborhood that has great access to 495 and the Mass Pike. Prices range from the $240's to $250's.
Pinecrest Village is an affordable town home neighborhood that was built in the late 1990's. This neighborhood is located off School Street in Hopkinton. There are 64 units in this neighborhood. These units have two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and full basements. Quite a few of the home owner have finished the lower levels creating additional finished space. The condo fees in this neighborhood range from around $207 - $215. Prices range from the $240's to $260's. Pinecrest is conveniently located a few miles from the 495 exits.
The Village at Highland park in Hopkinton is one of the nicer condominium neighborhoods in all of Metrowest MA. These town homes have distinct exteriors and interiors. There are tremendous architectural details accompanying each of these rich looking units. The Village at Highland Park was built by Hallmark Properties, a well respected design build firm. There are 26 homes in this tightly knit community. The Village of Highland Park is located on Wedgewood Drive off of Cedar Street Extension. This neighborhood has great access to Rte 85 and is a hop, skip, and jump from the T station on the Southboro/Hopkinton line. The condo fee at The Village at Highland Park is a rather steep $589 per month. Some of the interior features include 1st and 2nd floor master suites, crown moldings, vaulted ceilings, beautiful kitchens with Corian or granite counters, and 1 car garages.
Walcott Valley is the oldest condo neighborhood in Hopkinton. These condo's were built in the 1970's. Many of the homes have been updated. Walcott Valley is located off the center of town on Walcott Street. There are 66 units in this neighborhood. Most units in this neighborhood sell in the lower to mid $200's. Most of the units have two bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The condo fees range from around $204-219 per month. Walcott Valley has always been recognized as an affordable means of having a Hopkinton MA address.
The Preserve is the only gated community in Hopkinton. There are 40 units in this neighborhood located directly across from the Hopkinton State Park on Rte 85. The prices in The Preserve generally range from the low $300's up to the $400k price point. The condo fees in this neighborhood range from around $437-$496 per month. This neighborhood was built in the late 1980's. The Preserve offers one of the better values in Hopkinton. These units have a 1 car garage. The interiors are spacious and well designed.
