Wordless Wednesday - Magical

There is something magical about taking pictures after a snowstorm.

Here in New England the sun always comes out and we have a very bright blue sky.

It's absolutely wonderful for capturing pictures.

Imagine living in a home built in the 1700's with 4 fireplaces.

I love the way the snow fell on the wreaths.

Well, it's going to snow again tonight and we are expecting another 10 - 16 inches!

Peggy, The photo is absolutely beautiful … so nice of Mother Nature to provide a little break in between storms. My goodness …another 10-16 inches! I know some California ski buffs that would like to get some of that snow falling on our Northern California ski slopes!

Peggy, the combination of the white house, the snow and the blue sky makes this one pretty amazing!  We're getting the snow right now.  Hope we get the sky tomorrow!

Peggy if it wasn't for the black shutters, you probably would not have been able to tell that there was a house there :)

Thank you all. I had a lot of fun that morning taking pictures and can't wait for the next opportunity. I think I will focus on barns after this storm. We have a lot of neat ones around here.

Hi Peggy - That is one beautiful home!  Snow makes for lovely photos, but it makes for lots of work.  When I lived in Florida for a while I used to enjoy watching the storms roll into New England.  Now I am paying for it.  : )
