Thursday - 9/20: The Redding Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring this year's Business Expo "The Sky's the Limit" from 12:30pm - 6:00pm at the Redding Convention Center. Several local business will be providing information about their companies and featuring new products and services. Approximately 1,500 people are expected to attend. The event is free.
Saturday, 9/22: The new Health Sciences & University Center in Downtown Redding will be having its Ribbon Cutting and Open House this coming Saturday from 10am - 2pm. The event is open to the public. Come and tour this beautiful state-of-the-art higher education building, which will house Shasta College's nursing and dental hygiene programs, university programs offered by a variety of partners, and the Shasta Community Health Dental Clinic.
Sat. - Weds, 9/22-26: The start of something great for Redding. Kohl's is hosting a job fair for the new Redding store opening in November. Monday, 9/24: Women interested in being appointed to public boards and commissions can attend this workshop hosted by the Northstate chapter of the California Elected Women's Association. The free training is meant to guide women through the political appointment process. The workshop will be from 5:30pm - 7:30pm in the Community Room at the new Redding Library - 1100 Parkview Avenue.
