Isn't it a fact that we try and portray the written word with transparency of ‘self' in hopes we are relaying the emotion that may be behind it? We use signs {{sigh}} with a word in between or a J to show we're being facetious or happy.
Does the emotion doesn't always come across right?
I get excited when I want to get an oh, so ecstatic moment across. I'm overjoyed with elation that I voted for Governor Abercrombie and he won!!! Or how about those exclamation marks we receive when someone else is trying to get their point across.
What do you ‘think' they are saying when they exclaim in writing, "I THINK YOU'RE WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!" with capital letters and exclamation marks. Okay, though they didn't really write those exact words their point was that they believe they're right and you're oh, so wrong.
Beware of the written word with CAPITAL LETTERS in BOLD and many, many EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!
Are they yelling or are they just feeling strongly about the topic?
What do CAPITAL letters and exclamation marks mean to you?
Perception is an individuals' belief of what they "think" about a certain situation, thing etc. In this case it is the perception of what another person is saying through their written word. It all boils down to we are human and each human is a unique person with their own thoughts and feelings. It also depends on how the other person is portraying their written word.
If you have any inkling that the other person's writing is showing that they're ‘yelling' ......
Make the effort to pick up the phone.
.......If all else fails.....DETACH!!!!!
