How wonderful!! Great job in front of the camera Bill! I would have died! Like, Liz... I'm used to being behind the camera! I can surely see why a seller would hire your team! You're the go getters of Warren County, that's for sure!

Bill, you're definitely not camera shy.  Now we're waiting for one featuring Liz.  It seems to always be the women that would rather be behind the camera than in front of it.  You only confirmed what I already knew, that you're the goto team for Warren County!

Bill,  I've tried several cameras over the years and the one thing that has always driven me crazy was trying to get the lighting right.  What I found accidentally was that the camera played a big part of that.  I tried the Samsung TL320 and it was amazing how much better it handled various lighting scenarios.  I haven't tried your Kodak camera but from your example, if that's the output, I would quickly try out something else.  I think you can do better with a $15 webcam,

I did a quick video here in my kitchen and uploaded it to Youtube so you can see that without really trying, the lighting isn't too bad.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQNGGCvqAio

I like doing videos in the car because I find the natural daylight makes me look a little better.  I need every bit of help I can get.  I also think you need to play with the angle of the camera and how much face you have in the frame.  I don't like to look down at the camera because I think it makes the viewer feel intimidated and it also shows my drooping chin.  I also think that when your face fills the frame too much that it's like invading someone's personal space.

I know it's your first video but I spent many hours trying to get something that looked half decent.  I thought I might spare you some pain.  Wish you luck with your videos.

Jerry, The key is to give it a shot.  By doing it at all, you're probably ahead of 90% or more of your competition!

#40, Good luck with the videos!

Joni, We try to be the ones to call, trick is just getting the ears and eyeballs needed to get that chance :)

Leah, I'll keep working on that Liz appearance :)

Tim, Appreciate you sharing your experiences.   I don't know that I'd blame my camera for the lighting.  About 9:30 at night in a less than optimally lit room may have been the biggest influence.  I'll work on some more, and next time probably need to have Liz aim the camera and frame me better.  Live and learn!

Thanks for the vid link tutorial.  Very useful!  Why reinvent the wheel when you've already done the hard work for us! :)

You don't know silver, dude!  Your Wayne Newton-esque shades of black represent the hairline quite nicely.  Though your eyebrows could use a weed wacker;)

Hey, in all seriousness, I think it is pretty cool that you are doing what you are doing.  And see comment on other post ... I'd hire you guy & gal in a heartbeat.  That may not mean much until it means much ... but I'm onboard.

Nice work, to the both of you!

Jason, I've been lucky, the video hides the scattered gray throughout the top and the concentration at the temples!  I work with another guy with the exact same birthdate...so at 47+, he's entirely gray and missing about 1/2!  I won the lucky genes contest :)  And I inherited my dad's eyebrows!  At least they haven't went uni :)  It we do appreciate the endorsement!  I know it's sincere and that makes it pretty valuable.  Thanks!

Love, Love, Love the video.  It was really nice getting to know you Bill - you are so brave!  I too missed seeing Liz - maybe next time??  But I too would MUCH rather be behind the camera than in front of it.  One more advantage to being part of a TEAM.  You guys are the best.

Karen, We'll keep working on that Liz appearance in FRONT of the camera :)  She's a whiz behind the camera, no doubt!  One of our best marketing points for our expired listing appointments is her before and after portfolio!  And it is great working as a team.  We both have complementary strengths, so overall our gaps are pretty small.  And when we do have a gap that we can't fill, we'll hire someone that CAN get it done!

M.C., Thanks!  Just speaking to what I know, so a comfort level comes with that.  We've got to have fun with this work, and let people know we enjoy what we do :)

Bill and Liz...Congratulations on taking the first step into video. You won't regret it.  Make sure you set up a YouTube Channel so you can better direct your clients to find your videos.

Please take a moment to visit my channel and subscribe if you find it valuable.  Here's the link: YourOCHome.  The channel page is fairly customizable without a lot of tweaking.  Good luck.  Let me know when you set it up so I can subscribe.

Hey Bill you're a natural behind the camera your looked pretty comfortable in that environment!!! This has me thinking with all the hoopla over the Oscars you could be a contender for next year!

Oh yeah one more thing, I know exactly how your Liz feels....it's feels much better behind the camera.

Honestly, for the most part if you had to prove either of us existed via photographic evidence, might be kind of tough! :)
