There will be no real estate showings in Arlington today...or...look what the snow fairies left.

Yes, it's what it looks like. A big old chuck of tree fell off last night, right in front of my driveway. Took my old telephone line with it. Happy I'm still with Comcast now. The neighbors FIOS is out. Arlington, Va schools are closed today. They are out working on the roads but advising folks to stay in if they can. Many people were stuck in their cars last night as folks abandoned theirs on the ultra slick roads. We only had 5-8 inches but it was super heavy and slick. So, real estate showings in Arlington, Va will have to wait till tomorrow.

It's a great day to stay in and cozy up with a market analysis or two.

I'm staying in too.  The roads are getting better but all the abandoned cars are slowing progress.

Jane, I won't say that that would be my choice if I were there but I do remember those times.  You guys are being hammered of late!

@Kevin: Actually we've been mostly spared in the Mid-Atlantic. Boston and NY have gotten the worst of it. I am coming to Florida!

And I thought our month of rain was painful...showings stop when the street is blocked by a tree!

Jane - enjoy your snow day, and have fun being inside. Main factor is your safety no matter how frustrated you feel. Earlier this week I had to drive in snow - had to do it, but didn't enjoy it much.

Great picture! My kids loved the snow - no school! I wish I could be a kid again!
