Welcome to WOODCREEK FARMSLivonia Michigan web-blog written by Livonia real estate agent Bob Jakowinicz. The purpose of this blog is to give you a general idea of what Woodcreek Farms and Livonia Michigan has to offer. The following picture was taken at the entrance to the sub as you would enter coming off of Farmington Rd onto street Myrna Ct. This picture was taken just a day or so after a pretty heavy snow and the roads were already in good shape. There are approximately 111 homes in the sub which were mostly built in the 1960's. The local school district for the area is LIVONIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS with LIVONIA STEVENSON as the high school. From the moment you enter Woodcreek Farms you will notice well kept homes with tremendous pride of ownership from the local residents. As you enter and drive Woodcreek Farms Livonia Michigan you will get a nice country feel. The streets are a bit windy and the yards a bit bigger than you may see in other areas. The first picture of these two is of the divided entrance to the sub. You can already kind of get a feel for the homes and the overall setting of the sub just as you enter. The next picture is just taken as I was driving down the street in the sub. You can notice by the second picture the street is curving and the area has a spacious feel to it even though we are in the heart of Livonia. Many of the homes in this neighborhood back to woods and have great privacy. If a country like setting in the middle of a city is what your looking for you have come to the right place! In the next three pictures I will show you just a few local attractions. In the first picture is theLivonia Michigan Recreation Center. The Livonia Rec is only a few minutes from Woodcreek and offers two swimming pools, rock climbing wall, exercise equipment, two basketball courts, children's play area, party rooms, hot tub, sauna, locker rooms and much more. If shopping is what you crave you will have all you can handle. The next picture is of Laurel Park Place Mall which is probably about a 5-6 minute drive away. Laurel Park offers mall walking, good shopping, food court and movie theaters. Don't worry there is plenty of other places to shop not to far away as well such as Wonderland Shopping Plaza, Twelve Oaks Mall and many others. The third picture is of Rotary Parkwhich is probably about a 3-5 minute drive away. Rotary Park really has a lot to offer for just about anyone. Rotary Park has beautiful wooded walking trails (marked nicely), tennis courts, ball fields, play ground equipment and a party pavilion.
