Homes around Alki's waterfront usually command premium prices. From the views of downtown Seattle on Harbor Drive to Alki Avenue and Beach Drive's Island views on the Sound, Alki spans a wide variety of property types. Some of the most-coveted property is to the West of Alki Beach, where the real estate is situated on the water-side of the street.

For the buyer looking for a condo with a beautiful water view, there may just be an opportunity to get true waterfront at the same price. Add the high-end materials and quality finishes in these homes, and buying in when the market is down can have its advantages.
