Years ago, our Houlton Maine office was in the end of a farm house I grew up in and now own. It helped when real estate buyers wanting a country home with land, a farm drove in and thought this broker is not working out of a second story chrome and glass typical office setting with egg shell painted walls and boring brown, earth tone colored indoor / outdoor carpets. But instead, working out of the kind of property they were kicking listing tires on andconsidering buying. Wanting something surrounded by land for critters, crops, or just space for their kids, to simply be able to think clearly.
Now my home real estate office in US Rt 1 in Houlton Maine.
I "walk" to work which is a 32 foot commute to the real estate agency, brokerage factory.
The office is separate and I like that better than the farm home office in the Maine house dynamic.In the summer, head to the Maine lake so joke at night when jet skiing with kids, BBQ'ing grilled steaks that I am on vacation. Until 7AM tomorrow morning.
