Brenda- wow... when I went to your blog the sculpture just about came right off the page.  I've never been to Wyoming but that is a fantastic piece of art.

This is quite the interesting series Brenda.  I had no idea Laramie had all this cool stuff.  This one is spectacular.  It's huge - and beautiful.  That would be so fun to be this kind of artist - he's good.

Brenda, Is it outside of a library?

Wow a great capture by the artist:the few seconds before an unsuspecting rodant or smaller bird is captured in those powerful talons.  Those eyes are so focused.

Great series!  Good luck with it!

Hi Brenda,

I caught your comment today on one of the featured blogs that the top ActiveRainer in Wyoming only has 90,000+ points. I guess that means you're gunning for me! Welcome to ActiveRain, and yes, blogging works wonders. Perhaps this will be my motivation to get back to work on my blog too!

I started a series on interesting/historic buildings in Jackson Hole...I like your photo series on the sculpture too.

If you ever come to Jackson, give me a call. Coffee's on me!

Hi Kathy, Anna and Gary!  I guess we do have some cool things.  You just stop noticing when you live in a place a while.  Funny how that works!

Hi Gloria - A library is an awesome guess.  And there is probably a library in this building as it is the Laramie County Community College campus in Laramie.  Confused yet?  Cheyenne is the home of the LCCC and it is in Laramie County while the town of Laramie is in Albany County....

Thanks Lori, I was hoping to get a different photo but looks like this one will do just fine!  Thanks, Again!

Tim - You found me!  I knew this would happen.  I suppose this state is big enough for the both of us!  LOL  I have enjoyed the pictures of Jackson land for sale that you post.  I especially love the rock building business for sale on the corner.  I think I might even know where it is.

Hi Brenda - That statue is both beautiful and terrifying.  Beautiful, as that is a magnificent bird in all its glory.  Terrifying, this is the last thing the prey sees before becoming a meal.  Here I go again being philosophical again.  Thanks for the blog.
