Laramie, Wyoming.  We have some culture,  really - we do!  The challenge of this just for fun series . . .

Can You Find It ?!

If you haven't been to - or live in - Laramie, Wyoming,  it won't be easy to do the  "Can You Find It?"  part of this challenge.  However,  I  hope  that  far  away  visitors  can  still  enjoy  the  pictures!

Refugium Sculpture in Laramie Wyoming

Refugium Sculpture

This one is definitely not serious but it may be . . . DEEP.  Is it a brain, is it inviting you to take "refuge" from your own thoughts with the carefully placed chair in the interior?  Or is is just fun wavy shapes with a chair inside for you to sit?
A h h h h . . . I don't know the answer.   Do you?

(This series was inspired by Sculpture, A Wyoming Invitational.  www.uwartmuseum.blogspot.com )

Brenda,

I thought maybe it was a high energy chair with all of those waves it's giving off. :)

Brenda:

I go with your first suggestion; it is a brain letting us know we can take refuge from our own thoughts.  Such a simple concept, yet not always easy to apply!

Hi Steve -  This one is full of energy isn't it?!  I didn't even think of that,  I must need a refuge!

Hi Ellen - Thanks for coming by and sharing your thoughts!

Hi Brenda - I would like to think of the chair as the seat of knowledge.  Oh boy, that is getting deep.  Sure glad it was not an ambitious boy chair, pun intended so I do not offend a certain manufacturer.  Thanks for the bog.

Steve,  Ahhhh, a very inspired thinker you are.... now I'm going to have to expand my worldy knowledge and find out what the pun is.  When I do, I'll mark it off as today's new thing that I learned.   Inspiration comes from the darndest places! : )
