  1. Watch the Sea Lions and Seals at the Children's Pool on Coast Blvd.
  2. Visit the Cave Store on Coast Blvd. and walk the stairs down to the historic cave.
  3. Enjoy lunch or dinner at George's at the Cove on the ocean view terrace.
  4. Experience the Mt. Soledad Veteran's Memorial and take in the 360 degree view!
  5. Take a Kayak tour on the waters of La Jolla Cove.
  6. Have a cup of organically-grown coffee from Bird Rock Coffee Roasters in lovely Bird Rock.
  7. Attend a book-signing event at Warwick's bookstore on Girard Avenue.
  8. Have lunch at the historic and beautiful La Valencia Hotel on Prospect Street.
  9. Spend an afternoon in the sun at the La Jolla Shores beach.
  10. Attend a performance at the famous La Jolla Playhouse on the UCSD Campus.
  11. Spend the day discovering the wonders of the sea at the Birch Aquarium.

  28. Wipe Out Beach - just south of the Children's Pool, a glorious local slice of the shoreline right next to Whale View Point.

  36. The 12 Green Dragon Buildings - a collection of land hugging cottages occupied by a loose collection of galleries and boutiques in La Jolla Downtown Village on Prospect Street just east of Ivanhoe Street.
  37. La Jolla Music Society's SummerFest - a nationally-recognized chamber music festival featuring over 70 world-class artists and ensembles performing concerts.
  38. The Peter Lik Gallery - experience what makes Peter Lik the most important landscape photographer in the world at his gallery on Prospect Street.
  39. St. James Gift Shop - find a unique gift for a loved one in this charming gift shop at St. James-By-the-Sea, an Episcopal Church on Prospect Street.
  40.  Swim with Leopard Sharks at La Jolla Cove
  41. La Jolla Heights Natural Park - take Brodiaea Way to Encelia Drive and keep walking. It's approximately a 10 minute stroll leading to the La Jolla Reservoir with panoramic views of La Jolla.
  42. Salk Institute for Biological Studies - If you're even a mild architecture buff, the Salk Institute is a must-see.  Perched on some of the tallest cliffs in La Jolla, the Salk is perhaps the most famous building that Louis Kahn ever designed. Take in a sunset, walk around the grounds, relax and be amazed.
  43. Shell Beach - this little beach has a tide pool area at low tide. It is at the south end of Ellen Browning Scripps Park in La Jolla at the bottom of a small cement stairway.
  44. Alcala Gallery - a delightful stop in La Jolla Village on Silverado Street. See exhibits from the Southern California School of Art artists who worked on landscapes of the area.
  45. Stuart Collection of Sculpture at UCSD - enriches the San Diego community by building and maintaining a unique collection of site-specific sculpture by leading artists of our time.
  46. Surf at the La Jolla Beaches or learn to surf at the Surf Diva Surf School. Call (858)454-8273 for lessons!
  47. La Jolla Chamber Music Society - enjoy their many different series of dance, piano and chamber events located on Ivanhoe Avenue.
  48. Enjoy one of your favorite musical groups or singers at UCSD's Rimac Arena.
  49. Fingerhut Gallery - located on Prospect Street and particularly notable for it's highly impressive collection of limited edition prints. Don't miss Dr. Seuss' original works of art!
  50. Enjoy a picnic at Kellogg Park, a large grassy park located at La Jolla Shores beach.
