Fayetteville NC "Fourth Friday" January 28th 2011...

Fourth Friday

The Fayetteville Arts Council sponsors this event each month!  The shops in downtown Fayetteville NC stay open later than normal, people are strolling the streets of Fayetteville.

This months theme is “High School”, they will be featuring art from students that attend the local high schools! How much fun is that to see what our young people are creating and up and coming artist!

I am sure there will be some wine tasting and live music as usual... So why don't you come on down and enjoy the festivities that the Art Council puts together for you the people of Fayetteville NC?

How neat.  Do many folks show up in the winter months?  Here in Hendersonville there are downtown evening events during the spring, summer and fall which generally get a good turnout.

Hi Melissa - This sounds like so much fun!  And just the idea that people can get out and stroll around is awesome, since we're up to our eyeballs in snow here in CT.

Good morning Melissa,

What a great monthly event. I'm sure the art work created by the High School kids will be fun to see! Nice Localism post.

Melissa -- I love these types of events.  It's nice that it's ongoing, not just a one-time deal.  I've been to many high school art shows and I can tell you that the talent is just phenomenal.  Wish you weren't so far away because I would definitely be there!
