TECH HELP!  Emails gone wild and I need to save them.

I know someone can help me.  I use Gmail, a friend uses Yahoo mail, same problem.

                                 gmail - realtorsusan.com

Here's my question.... we are attempting to go completely paperless.  How do you save your email correspondences?

I currently put them in a file within gmail, aka Label Them, per transaction.  Once the transaction is complete I want to burn them to a disk along with the rest of the transaction.  BUT HOW, without doing each individual email separately?

I know there has to be a way.  I open to any and all suggestions so fire away.

You are awesome

Thanks in advance!

I save them in a folder, zip them and send them off to my husband. He uses Acrobat to open it and combine it into one file.

Joni - thanks --

Vicki - you save them in what kind of a folder -- like when you first read them?  Are you offering your husband's computer  services to all of us on AR?  LOL

Have a look at http://www.gmail-backup.com/ to get your email to disk. I have not tried it, but it may do the trick for you.

If you use microsoft outlook as your yahoo or gmail email client.  You can put all your email correspondences in a single folder, then archive that folder into a single pst file.  Here is the instruction from Microsoft.

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/archive-a-folder-manually-HA001121610.aspx

Google wants everthing to work online inside the cloud, so I don't think they will offer an offline archiving solution anytime soon.
