Prospect with Soul for Real Estate Agents - The Cover Decision - THIS one? Or THAT one?

By
Education & Training with Sell with Soul

Hey, friends. Here's an easy Friday project for ya.

I just finished up the design of the cover of my upcoming book, Prospect with Soul for Real Estate Agents (well, I didn't DO the design, of course; but I micro-managed the process!). I'm down to one decision and the vote so far is tied 4 to 4.

Of these two covers, which one which one do you prefer? They're identical except for the placement of the subtitle.

I know, I know, hardly the most important decision in the world, but I can't seem to make it myself.

Help me out? Option 1? Or Option 2?

OPTION 1

Front Cover 1

  OPTION 2

Front Cover 2

I like option #2 - the words distract me from the light thingy and also - reading the words is easier when they are away from the light.  Full disclosure -  I have an LD that impacts reading  - so having that background confuses my eyes.  Sometimes this makes me more sensitive to distracting color when reading.

Jennifer, I prefer option #2 or the cover. The sparkle pops out more.

Option #1 would be my choice. The subtitle competes with the light flash. With the subtitle imposed over the light, it does seem to imply something more meaningful. I love the cover and can't wait until the book is available!

Option #1 bugs me...the lettering over the hand is cluttered - but again, that's probably personality-related! LOL  I definitely prefer #2 but isn't it interesting how varied the answers are?

Hi,

Not sure if you picked on already; however, I think I like #1 better.  However, the way the wording is lined up is kind of off to me.  If it was lined up better it wouldn't look so cluttered.  That's just my two cents though.  Gorgeous covers though and lots of success to you :)!

If the words in option 2 were centered, then I would choose that one. However, since they are not, my vote goes to option 1.

I tend to agree with Gail Robinson. I first thought option 1 but realized my eyes were naturally going from the spark to the sub-title.  Option 2 is natural and easy on the eyes!

OK. Ordering your first book, now!

And the winner is....

A combination of Options 1 and 2! Subtitle "in the light" but away from the hand and easier to read. Stand by for the final version!

And THANKS!

Option 2 for me  - it is just easier to read the subtitle
