Improving Woodbury MN Home Sales? Durham Executive Group

The Durham Executive Group is excited about what appears to be improving Woodbury, MN home sales. Recently we blogged about how there have been more upper bracket homes that sold for $700,000+ in 2010 (we sold two of the 8 upper bracket homes) than in recent years, and they sold on average for over $80,000 more. The Durham Executive Group had their best selling year ever during 2010.

Additionally, the Durham Executive Group researched that during the month of December there were 37 single family homes in Woodbury, MN that sold and closed. Price ranged from $129,900 all the way up to $730,000. There were no homes in the $600,000+ range that closed, but there were two homes in the $500,000+ range that closed. In the $400,000+ range there were 5 homes that closed, while in the $300,000+ range there were 9 homes that closed. In the $200,000+ range there were 16 homes that closed.

For comparison during the month of December 2009 there were only 33 single family homes in Woodbury that closed. The price ranged from $150,000 all the way up to $399,000. This along with our other recent Woodbury, MN sold data research (for upper bracket Woodbury, MN homes that have sold) for Woodbury has shown the housing market sales in Woodbury seems to be improving, or at least in relationship to the previous year.
