DC Neighborhood Projects: Public Bar Tenley

Tenleytown is home of American University. Despite the presence of college students, there is a lack of bar and lounges in the neighborhood...until now! Introducing Public Bar Tenley!







Every dc bar hopper is familiar with Public Bar located in Dupont Circle, a unique mixture of restaurant, lounge, and sports bar. This venue was designed by Grupo 7 and occupies 7,600 square feet on two interior levels and a rooftop deck. It includes 31 TVs and a large U-shaped bar. The second-level lounge, dubbed the Suite, has a private bar, six large-screen TVs, and a range of lounge seating options.











Now, the Public Group has begun construction on new Public Bar Tenley in the former space of the seafood restaurant The Dancing Crab. Completion of the Public Bar Tenley is to be announced.
