I Sink, Therefore I Am

I Sink, Therefore I Am (With apologies to Rene Descartes).

Subsido ergo sum?

Anywho . . . This sink in a powder room of a post-war split I showed today, was most interesting.  I don't think I've seen a sink quite like it!

Unique Sink

You sure wouldn't see a two spigot set-up in a house built today, because they can be dangerous.  Without a mixer, the hot spigot can be scalding.

While this munchkin sink with its opposing spigots may be charming, the eventual homeowner may want to think about replacing it with something a bit safer.

And the cinderblock wall doesn't do anything for its appeal either...  At least it is shiny and clean!

The home was spotless!  But the industrial looking half-bath with cinder block walls and exposed plumbing will have limited appeal.
