Bob Stewart's Latest Challenge and many of you have earned me 300,000+ points. This is exciting for me so I wish to thank all of you that have helped me along the way.
(I surprised myself...i got to 300,000 without counting the points from Bob's latest challange, which haven't been awarded as yet, although I am giving him credit because it helped spur me on.)
You have provided so much more than I would have ever guessed when I first joined. However, it did not take very long before I realized what a treasure trove Active Rain was and continues to be.
It is The Place to go for well qualified REALTORS and other professionals related to our business. I have no doubt that should I need to refer a client elsewhere Active Rain would be the first place I would look. I have done this and will continue to.
The list of benefits seems to grow with each passing year.
- It has created bloggers of many that could never imagine doing this not so long ago.
- New members assimilate easily and quickly add to the volume of information
- Google juice improves with each quality post we blog
- Friends multiply as we reach out to them and they reach out to us
- Ideas are freely shared
- Ourside blogs that would be fed from our Active Rain blogs. What a difference that made for many of us.
- Active Rain University provides an assortment of classes to enable us to learn even more
- We have guidelines to make this a better place and most members follow them
- Localism.com is a site where we can showcase our marketing areas and ourselves
- Raincamp is a time to gether together and learn. Make new friends and greet the old.
- Professionals in related businesses are able to market their expertise enabling us to find out about them
- There are members that have started new business endeavors alone and with other members as a result of being on Active Rain
- Re-blogging which gives our posts a chance to be read by more folks and for us to share a post we feel deserves a wider audience.
- The Suggest Button which we can click on when we think a post deserves to be featured.
- Active Rain Daily Drop which is emailed to us each day and shares with us a featured member and a list of must read blogs.
- Contests and challenges that provide not only extra points (sometimes) but a kick in the butt to keep us focused (always).
I am sure that you will come up with many other benefits. I know that there are more, however, I simply wanted to let Bob, Jon, and all of the others working hard to make Active Rain an even better place for us that it is noticed and appreciated. Some of these benefits were here when I joined in the fall of 2007. Many more have been added.
Where else would a real estate professional want to be? I cannot come up with an answer. This is The Place.
