Have you ever watched agents do well despite current market conditions? Have you ever known agents not doing well in a hot market? I assume the answer to both cases is 'Yes'. In looking at myself over the last ten years in a market that went from dead to hot to stagnant and up again, like a roller coaster ride in an amusement park, I come to the conclusion that I am completely independent of current market conditions. I did horribly in a great market and did very well in a down market. My point is, you are the driving force in your market. You are the center of gravity, the force field where all the threads join together. In your life as a real estate agent, you are the sun, generating the heat for pushing you forward. Clowds cannot stop you, rain cannot stop you, a down market cannot stop you. Is the sun concerned about clowds? No. It shines not even aware of them. You can do well in a dead market, and can do great in any market condition. You are FREE!! I realize I am going out on a limb here but this is a forum for discussion and this is the truth as I see it.
