Paying it Forward . . . When one Door Closes Another one Opens
Back in December we closed down our office in Prospect and merged with another RE/MAX office in nearby Cheshire. As the other office was already established, we had a lot of office furnishings and equipment to move.
We were fortunate that we found happy homes for most of the furniture, file cabinets, copiers and fax, and eve the phone system. Left over were 5 computer systems that we chose not to sell.
We gave one computer system to the office secretary so she could give it to here daughter who is going to college.
A second system went to the grandson of my partner.
I gave a third computer to my grandson Raphael's mother to prepare him for his entry to electronics.
The other 2 computer stations will be given to our church, which is currently remodeling a day care center for the parishioners children.
Hopefully all of the recipients of these operating system will be happy. All were completely purged of all real estate and other files, memories were upgraded and all the operating systems were put back into good working order.
While they're not new, they could well pass as new and hopefully there will be lots of life and good use on them.
We closed the doors to our office and have put the computers to good use elsewhere.
