Good Customer Service is Good for Business
The other day I wrote a post about the Benefits of Excellent Customer Serivce. I had experienced several days in a row of very good customer service, so much so that I felt the need to blog about it! There was one moment of customer service that I had left out of that original post in order to keep it at a decent length. So, as Paul Harvey would say, here's the rest of the story......
It had been a few busy days one right after the other, with a lot of tasks to complete. In the middle of all of this, I was contacted by a friend of mine, who had questions about selling her condominium in Canton MA and whether this was a good time to sell. I was able to answer her initial questions. But, as an Exclusive Buyer Agent, I knew that I wanted to put her in touch with a listing agent who would give the same customer service that I would provide and who would give her the best opportunity to sell her home at the best price. I immediately thought of Nina Rogoff - a fellow Active Rain member from the neighboring town of Sharon MA.
In between my other tasks, I was able to contact Nina, who promptly responded to my message and I provided her contact information to my friend. I know that they have been in touch and hopefully it will result in a successful sale for all involved. In the meantime, I have plans to meet Nina at Starbucks in Canton MA tomorrow so we can meet in person.
As mentioned in the earlier post, good customer service is the right thing to do. But, it is also good for business!
