Retire to CountryPlace Pearland! At CountryPlace you will make friends, take part in interesting activities if you wish. You can swim and take water aerobics, play tennis, join the area golf club, take exercise classes, play cards, dominoes, go to interesting talks, and many events.
Recently a group of about 140 residents went on a Carribean cruise. From the reports I got, it was wonderful and a good time was had by all.
Another event that many of us residents enjoy is the local high school plays. Bonnie Cain, Superintendent of Pearland Schools gives us free tickets to the plays at Pearland High School and Dawson High School. This weekend, I attended Oklahoma at Pearland High School. It was amazing. We are grateful for the tickets. Next week, I will attend Hairspray presented by Dawson High School. I have heard that it is equally awesome.
If CountryPlace does not have an activity or event that you enjoy, you are free to start your own.
Many of us also enjoy the library where we can borrow books or tapes anytime.
