THE SNOW IS COMING! THE SNOW IS COMING! The weather forecast for Fort Wayne over the next few days is scary. According to Indiana News Center the snow is supposed to start Monday night through Tuesday morning. Initial accumulations will be 1 to 3 inches. The rest of the day Tuesday will have on and off flurries... then the fun begins!
By Tuesday evening, the second round of snow will begin and continue through Wednesday. Amounts with this second round is a little less certain because some sleet and freezing rain may mix in with the snow. If all the precipitation remains snow, then totals will be significant by Wednesday, up to 8 inches and it will become windy and brisk.
Will it be a blizzard in Fort Wayne? I doubt it, but I am certainly excited about making a giant snow man in my front yard!! We were supposed to be showing some homes in North West Fort Wayne Tuesday night but I don't think that is going to be happening!
