Yes a little known fact is that carpet fresh is actually not good for you nor your carpet. Some people have allergies to the dust but more often the problem is in the removal.
I had a tenant recently move into a rental home and reported that her vacuum kept pulling this gray powder from her carpet. She and her family were suffering from the flu but she also was concerned that maybe this fine dust could be furnace cement or asbestos!!!!!!
After a quick and thorough inspection it was determined the true cause of this fine dust was Carpet Fresh. Over time the dust settles to the bottom and nothing can remove not even professional carpet cleaning. You must replace the carpet/padding to get it all out.
Most peoples vacuums do not possess the suction to pull out large enough amounts to even be noticeable but it is still there.
