I’ve been tagged by my friend Amanda Simpson to share a little about myself to my fellow Rainers.
If you get tagged, please copy and paste the next paragraph in your blog, so the next person knows how to play:
I'd like to know what YOUR Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) is for 2011. I'd also like to know more about you, and your background, what is it about you that make this BHAG so important? What experiences are you bringing with you into 2011 that will make this BHAG work? So I'm asking you to please share 5 or 6 things about yourself, and then tag 5 or 6 more people so we can learn about them too! (Here's a MeMe Tutorial)
My BHAG goal for 2011 is: Two parts. #1 is to get better organized. Most think I am very organized, but I see an area or two in need of improvement. Not a BIG goal, but a goal none the less. #2 is to get back into my arts and crafts. I had forgotten how stress relieving an art project can be.
In some way or another, I have been in accounting for 34 years. So I am able to keep my own books in whatever I do. In fact over the years, I was usually hired as the bookkeeper to start with….then ended up learning another career along with my bookkeeping.
Besides being the bookkeeper, I was a kitchen and bath designer for custom home builders before moving to Texas. I was the bookkeeper and then promoted to office manager for a real estate company before getting my real estate license.
I am somewhat creative and artistic. This helps me see what something can be, instead of what it is. Most important, I am able to decorate on a lower budget while getting the high dollar look.
I have helped clients hem the curtains for their home, have installed cabinet handles, helped enroll their children in school. I take care of my clients, even after the sale. Some of my closest friends were at one time clients.
My sense of humor keeps me out of trouble, and is what my friends and husband love about me they say. I passed it down to my daughter, and she to her daughter. When we are all together, all we need is an audience!
Here are five people I would like to know more about!
Kevin Martin What pretty blue eyes!
Linda Pufford I think she has blue eyes too, and can she stage!
Lou Ludwig BLUE, EYES, IS, THE, ONLY, THING, MISSING,
Debra Walsh I want to hear about New York life.
Debra Byron I don’t know anyone in Idaho! She looks like a friend... I haven’t met yet.
