"My first 2 weeks in Real Estate and what I've learned"

By
Real Estate Agent

owensboro, KY real estateWhat have I learned in my first two weeks in Real Estate?  I have learned that I am very grateful that I took the Todd Thornton Real Estate Renegade class.  I believe that his course helped prepare me by providing me the knowledge that I really needed to start my career.

I believe that I made the right choice in choosing Real Living Home Realty because I feel that I am getting the training and support that I need.  The staff here is very friendly and helpful in every way.  They have been generous enough to let me do open houses for them so that I can start getting my name out there and possibly get some leads.

I have learned so many things about how to write listing and buyers agreements and about the different type of agency agreements.  I am confident that I have a pretty good handle on how to write up a listing or purchase agreement and how important it is to make sure that you are giving your client the right disclosure forms.  I think one of the hardest things was using the financial calculator because that was not something that was addressed in the course.  But I know it is going to be a great asset to my business.

I have learned how important marketing yourself is to this business and that you really have to get yourself out there to be successful.  You need to think outside the box and brand yourself in a way that gets people's attention.  I know that to be successful in this business it will take a lot of hard work and commitment which I am willing to do.  I feel I have what it takes and am willing to go that extra mile to get there.

You might want to add a good listing presentation and social media marketing skills to that list.
