New Standard Equipment for Property Inspectors - Snowshoes in Connecticut!?

This winter has required some drastic measures in Connecticut!  This morning on Facebook, a home inspector out of Southington, Paul Peshka of N-Spect Property Inspections, posted his feet in snow shoes!  Can't get around a house without them lately!  I have an inspection in Bristol with Paul on Thursday, so I will get to see how proficient he is at using them!  I could certainly have used snowshoes yesterday when I was trying to hang a sign rider on one of my for sale signs--climbed over a drift and sank in to my waist!  As Paul heads out to all parts of Connecticut, I am sure he will have some great stories to tell of inspections over the past weeks!

Chris,

Those are some heavy duty snow shoes that Paul is wearing.  You really have had your share of snow and then some this year.  Thanks for sharing these great photos with us.  Some of my favorites..  1.) Your car trying to make it out of the garage..but it didn't get to far.  2.) Your lamp post covered with snow was another.  I hope we all have an early spring...  we need it!

Chris, we are all going to need snow shoes, I was thinking of it the other day when I drove past a store that had an old pair in the window.

Smart man... LOL, make sure you get us a photo of the inspection...

Hi Linda - Punxsutawney Phil says we will have an early spring.  I think he may have said it to protect his own skin however.  Looks like an icy day today . . . At least all this snow makes for great photos.

HI Andrea - With the coating of ice on top of this snow, I hope the snow shoes still work!

Chris, Interesting that you posted this, I've heard more people around here talking about their outings in snow shows.  Have you ever tried them?  I hope to one day!

Hi Gloria - The inspection went well.  I was very impressed with Paul's ability to get around!  Not only do we have feet of snow on the ground, but we also have a very thick crust of ice sitting on top of it.  Good luck with snow shoes when you try them!
